Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. Some who hold up this view may havent yet realized the importance of the language variety to humanity. It is actually a misunderstanding of language diversity is the cause for the complexity of communication. There is an argument saying that more than 200 languages existing on earth nowadays and has been used for communication.by the trend of globalization, foreign language become a main subject that fixed in curriculum ever since we are young for majority of the population in the world. However recent data shows that, 96% of the worlds languages are spoken just by 4% of the people. We can see, actually the majority of us are normally communicated with the quite few language which play the dominant role in the communication. And that means we dont need to learn as much language as we image. Theres no influence for the daily life for most of us by the disappearance of the language. Whats more, it is quite necessary to keep an eye on the linguistic diversity. Each language has its own individual identity and value. And it indicates the mental process of the people whos using it. Besides, each language has its unique vocabulary to accurately meet the needs of their users expression which can not be replaced by others. In a wide rage, it will definitely help to keep the human expression more vividly and interesting. It seems irreversible for the disappearance of the language, with the influence of modernization and globalization. However, with the reason above, we need to take action for saving the valuable resource of our human heritage.
